Our Journey: From Passionate Beginnings to Culinary Excellence
With a deep-rooted passion for cooking and a desire to honor her family’s culinary legacy, Shilpa Garude embarked on a journey alongside her sister, Anita Vaidya, to carry forward their family business, “Omkar Foods”, started by her mother, Shila Korde in Mumbai in 1985, now continued by her sister Minal Mohorikar. With a commitment to innovation, she is now rebranding their beloved establishment as “Mumbai Flavors”, and infusing it with a modern twist through exciting fusion dishes that blend traditional flavors with contemporary culinary trends, creating a unique experience that pays homage to the city’s rich heritage.
